In summary, here's why we decided to switch to Lark from Google Workspace:


1. Stuck with Premium Rates Despite Discounts

Previously, we paid around $12 per month per user for Google Workspace.

Even with the discounted price (16.67% off), it's still more expensive than the original price from the website.

As you can see, the price now has dropped to about $7.80, a 35% decrease, we are still required to continue to pay for a full year until the contract ends.

The amount doesn't seem to be a lot, but when you multiply that difference across 10 employees, the cost adds up quickly.

So, be careful of Google workspace pricing, especially the 1-year commitment.
